Dato’ Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan is a highly respected figure in Malaysia’s diplomatic and corporate landscape, known for his deep expertise in international relations, ESG strategy, and cross-border investment facilitation. With over 30 years in public service, he served in multiple global postings and was Malaysia’s Ambassador to China from 1998 to 2005, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing bilateral economic cooperation.
Following his diplomatic career, Dato’ Abdul Majid transitioned into the private sector with a focus on building corporate partnerships and promoting sustainable growth. He served as Chairman of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) from 2019 to 2021, where he led high-level investment initiatives and championed ESG-aligned strategies to attract responsible capital into Malaysia.
He is currently President of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association and sits on the boards of several public-listed companies, advising on ESG integration, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business practices. His leadership has contributed to advancing corporate governance standards and fostering long-term partnerships between Malaysian enterprises and international investors.
Dato’ Abdul Majid holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Malaya and continues to support ESG capacity building, strategic consulting, and regional investment alignment across sectors.
Rasul has over 20 years experience with China-Malaysia relations in various industries including hospitality, real estate, and education. He is currently in charge of Business Development for a Chinese energy storage designer + manufacturer providing solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential partners throughout Malaysia. He also owns and operates an e-commerce business importing hobby goods from various international publishers to supply products to various B2B and B2C clients.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Illinois (UIUC) and a Masters degree in Business from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
Rezhan Majid is a seasoned entrepreneur and startup founder with a proven track record across multiple industries including technology, sports, event management, and logistics. A graduate in Finance from the University of Illinois and an alumnus of Stanford University’s Entrepreneurial Studies program, Rezhan brings a sharp business acumen combined with creative execution to every venture he builds.
He is a recipient of the prestigious Cradle CIP Grant and was a global finalist in the World StartCup Competition, where his ventures were recognized for their innovation, scalability, and real-world impact. Over the past decade, Rezhan has launched and operated several startups, each uniquely focused on solving challenges through digital platforms and people-centric design.
His most recent venture harnesses the power of AI to democratize access to sports, reaching tens of thousands of users across Southeast Asia — a reflection of his lifelong passion for fitness, play, and community engagement.

Whether building tech infrastructure, scaling regional operations, or leading teams through high-pressure events, he brings a competitive spirit and collaborative mindset to everything he does.
Amalina has over 16 years of work experience with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), with vast experience in international refugee law, international humanitarian law and international protection for refugees and other forcibly displaced persons. Amalina has worked in complex, humanitarian emergencies in the Middle East, with a special focus on the Syrian humanitarian crisis, having worked in Syria and Turkey between 2012 and 2014 and in Lebanon between 2024 and 2025. Amalina was also the Senior Registration and Identity Management Officer for UNHCRs’ Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific between 2019 and 2023, providing support to data, information and identity management activities to UNHCR operations responding to the Afghanistan refugee crisis, including in Pakistan and Iran; as well as responding to the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh.
Amalina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and a Masters degree in International Law (LLM) from the University of Nottingham, in the United Kingdom.
With nearly a combined decade of experience working with sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework across the education, non-profit, and hospitality sectors in both Australia and Malaysia, Amirah offers a wealth of expertise in sustainable development leadership, program and project management, stakeholder engagement, and event management. She is experienced in creating content for and delivering executive training programs and workshops focused on sustainable development, and has a strong track record of organizing and leading teams for events of all sizes—from intimate meetings and public lectures to major launches and forums.
Amirah is also the founder of a social, volunteer-driven fitness community that offers free and regular access to quality fitness resources and promotes an active lifestyle, regardless of fitness level. Currently, she works with an international non-profit organization that aims to advance the SDGs and the Paris Agreement through education, research, policy analysis, and global collaboration. Her work centers on mobilizing national and regional networks that engage leading knowledge institutions, and leveraging their expertise for the localization of and advancement of sustainable development, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
Amirah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Hotel Management from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia and a Masters in Sustainability (Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management) from Monash University, Australia.
Ramzi has been ais the technical project manager in the semiconductor industry for the last half decade. As a technical project manager, Ramzi manages a multi million dollar module from the U.S which will be integrated in Europe as the new generation lithography tool needed for developing the most advanced microchips.
Prior to joining the semiconductor industry, Ramzi worked in business development for a Fortune 100 global diversified technology and multi industrial company for three years.
Previous to business development, he received the masters and bachelors degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2016 and 2015 respectively. During his graduate studies, his research focused on soft robotic technology in medical applications. He is a license Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and a published author in the areas of robotics and medical devices. His work appeared in publications including the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and System (IROS) and Studies in Health Technology and Informatics.
